The tour will depart from The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Headquarters at 601 Riverfront Drive at 10am on March 7, 2024. (…and we return to same location) There is free parking and restrooms inside Lewis and Clark Headquarters. The bus is a luxury bus with an onboard restroom. The guided bus tour trip will take about 3 hours. We will explore 19th century history and notable people who settled Omaha and downtown sites like Capital District old vs new. The Old Market area, CWS, UP, Blackstone, Gold Coast, St. Cecilia’s Cathedral, TAC, Creighton University, UNO, UNMC Med Center, Dundee Memorial Park, local artwork, and artists. We will explore many places in Omaha, all in the comfort of a luxury charter bus. The bus will hold fifty people. The tour will be free for OEA-Retired members; guests will pay $10.00 before boarding the bus. Snacks will be available.
