See the reimagined Joslyn Art Museum!

Visit the Joslyn Museum, reimagined — 5,000 years of human creativity in art across three buildings, 100 works new to the collection on view, three outstanding exhibitions, one stunning new building.

Our tour will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the main entrance of the Museum, 2200 Dodge Street, Omaha.  Enter through the North Entrance.  Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. so our tour can start on time!

We will embark on a guided tour of the Highlights of the Museum.  This guided tour offers an immersive experience, showcasing the most iconic and cherished pieces in our collection. Perfect for first-time guests, this itinerary will reveal the magic and allure that make the Joslyn Art Museum a must-visit destination. Discover the stories behind the masterpieces, and let the art captivate your imagination. Join us and see why the Joslyn Art Museum is a treasure trove of artistic wonders!

Our guided tour will last an hour.  The second hour of your visit is self-guided, with access to all permanent collection galleries. The Museum will have a ticketed temporary exhibition called All Aboard: The Railroad in American Art, 1840-1955, which explores the influence of trains on American art during an era of US expansion, industrialization, and urbanization. Anyone interested in visiting that exhibit on their own can get a ticket at the Museum’s welcome desk: $10 per adult, free for Museum members.

There is free parking (with handicapped spaces) near the North Entrance.  Our group will be divided into smaller groups after entering the Museum to get a more intimate experience.  We plan two groups of about 15 each.  Due to the small group size, only OEA-Retired members are allowed on our tour.  Sorry!  If demand is high, we will request additional guides, but there is no guarantee that we can accomodate more.

This is a members-only event!  There is no charge for members, but registration is required!  Register now, while space is still available!
